Dr. Stuart J. Coffey
Dr. Coffey graduated with a degree in biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Flint before receiving his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2023. He continued his dental training by completing a 1-year General Practice Residency at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affair Hospital.

 

His residency gave him the opportunity to provide dental treatment to medically complex patients, as well as provide care to special needs patients in the operating room. As a resident, Dr. Coffey served as a consultant for the emergency department at the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs hospitals where he would treat after hours dental emergencies.

 

From dental school to residency, Dr. Coffey has shown an interest in the correlations between oral health and overall health. He believes dental care is specific to the individual and practices with a patient-centered approach.

 

In his spare time, Dr. Coffey enjoys visiting national parks, backpacking, snowboarding, and planning the next adventure. He’s been fortunate to spend some time in Europe, visiting countries such as Germany, Italy, Spain, and France.

 

Dr. Coffey is devoted to education by completing a residency, attending continuing education courses, and reading the latest research in dentistry. He strives to listen to his patient’s concerns and needs in order to provide the utmost care while ensuring the patient leaves with a better understanding of their oral health.
